Ghost town at the foot of the Dragoon Mountains ~15 miles NE of Tombstone, founded 1909 in a copper rush and named for Courtland Young of the Great Western Mining Company. Briefly touted as Arizona's most promising copper vein; four companies (Great Western, Calumet & Arizona, Copper Queen, Leadville) raced in, but each hit the same barren limestone ridge ~300 ft down. Population hit ~2,000 before a 1921 mass exodus.
