KiMo Theatre

The KiMo sits on Central Avenue in downtown Albuquerque — Route 66 country — a performing arts venue built in 1927 in a style it helped define: Pueblo Deco, where Art Deco structure meets Pueblo and Navajo motifs. There is nothing quite like it. The city owns it now, keeps it active, and puts live performances, films, and art inside it. Go because it is still working, still the thing it was built to be.
