Paso Robles Pioneer Museum

Good forHistory buffsArts & culture lovers

The Geneseo schoolhouse still stands outside — a single room, donated in 2004 by the family of Linden Chandler, moved from 11 miles east of town where it taught students until 1962. Inside the main building, 20,000 square feet trace Paso Robles from prehistoric artifacts through Western settlement, with exhibits on the local barbed wire tradition built in collaboration with the Barbed Wire Collectors Association, and a dedicated display honoring Polish pianist and statesman Ignacy Jan Paderewski, who came here in the early 1900s seeking the mineral springs.
