Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center

The Hoh Rain Forest Visitor Center sits at the end of Upper Hoh Road, where the Hoh River Trail begins its run toward Mount Olympus through one of the finest remaining temperate rainforests in the United States. Rangers answer questions and issue backcountry permits. The forest receives 140 to 170 inches of rain annually. As of early 2025, a major road washout has closed the center — check conditions at nps.gov/olym before you go.
