State Street State Line

The state line between Tennessee and Virginia runs down the center of State Street in downtown Bristol. A landmark bridge marking that border was erected in 1910 and placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988. The historical marker sits at the intersection of State Street and Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard. Two states, one street — the division is literal, and it's been that way for over a century.
