Museum at Central School (Northwest Montana History Museum)

The building was boarded up and threatened with demolition before Kalispell saved it and converted it into a museum — an effort so significant it became the first exhibit visitors encounter on the way in. Now rebranded as the Northwest Montana History Museum, the place holds the most extensive collection of local history in the region, covering the whole northwest corner of the state.
