Hockaday Museum of Art

Named for a Lakeside artist who died in 1968, a year before it first opened, the museum has carried several names in its history — the current one dates to 1998. Its permanent collection focuses on the art and artists of Montana and Glacier National Park. In 2024, the board approved a rename to Glacier Art Museum, aiming for broader regional recognition.
