Swiftcurrent Valley & Iceberg Lake Trail

The trail breaks off from the Ptarmigan Trail in the Many Glacier area and works through trees toward the serrated edge of the Ptarmigan Wall before opening into flower-covered meadows. The destination is a cirque lake where icebergs float through most summers, the vertical walls rising straight from the water. Beargrass, fleabane, mountain goats, bears, bighorn sheep, and moose are documented along the route. No dogs allowed.
