Wimberley Square

The town started as a trading post near Cypress Creek in 1848, and the square that grew from it still runs on the same logic: locally owned businesses, limestone facades, the creek moving through. Wimberley Square holds boutiques, art galleries, antique shops, and eateries — plus the Wimberley Valley Museum, which keeps the record of Native American and pioneer history here. Cypress Creek runs through, and a few restaurants put tables alongside it.
