Blanco — Real Ale Brewing Company

Founded in 1996 in the basement of a Blanco antique store, Real Ale Brewing Company has grown from a small family operation into one of Texas's most decorated regional breweries — all without leaving the Hill Country. The move to a new facility in 2006 expanded capacity dramatically. The owner credits the Blanco River itself for the quality of the beer. Their Fireman's #4 Blonde Ale is perhaps their best-known pour. Real Ale distributes only within Texas, and that's the point.
