Becker Vineyards

Bunny and Richard Becker found a log cabin and 46 acres of raw Hill Country land in 1990, planted their first vines in 1992, and built what is now a winery producing over 100,000 cases a year. The estate runs along Wine Road 290 east of Fredericksburg, where lavender fields and peach orchards share ground with the vineyards. Lady Bird Johnson, it's said, was fond of the wildflowers growing here — and the Chardonnay.
