Corolla Light Resort and Historic Village Area

Corolla remained cut off from the paved road network until 1984. That isolation shaped everything — the lighthouse, the Whalehead Club campus, the compact historic village that grew up around them. What the rental-home corridor to the north became, this place did not. The road arrived late, and the difference is still visible.
