Quilcene Historical Museum

The Quilcene Historical Museum exists because a small community decided its past was worth keeping. Founded in April 1991 as a nonprofit, the museum covers the histories of seafood, timber, and mining across Quilcene, Brinnon, and the surrounding North Hood Canal area. It sits within Worthington Park along the Little Quilcene River, sharing grounds with the Worthington House — the oldest still-standing home in Quilcene. Run entirely by volunteers, it's the kind of place that endures because people keep showing up to make sure it does.
