Port of Galveston – Cruise Terminal

The port that once moved more cotton than anywhere else on earth now moves people. Established in 1825 by the Congress of Mexico, Galveston's port survived the deadliest natural disaster in American history and kept working. Today it ranks as the fourth-busiest cruise homeport in North America, with Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Disney, Norwegian, and Princess all sailing from its terminals. Roughly two-thirds of passengers drive in and leave their cars — the parking lot is part of the deal.
