Fort Hill Cemetery (Auburn)

Incorporated in 1851 on land that was once a fortified Cayuga Nation village, Fort Hill Cemetery in Auburn holds the graves of Harriet Tubman, Secretary of State William H. Seward, and a notable list of abolitionists, suffragists, and Civil War figures. A 56-foot limestone obelisk marks the burial site of Chief Logan, famed chief of the Haudenosaunee.
