Benjamin Patterson Inn Museum Complex

Built in 1796 by Benjamin Patterson, a Revolutionary War veteran, this Corning complex began as a tavern and inn serving travelers on the old Genesee Road. Several period structures — including a blacksmith shop from the 1850s, an 1820s house, and an 1830s rural life center — fill out the grounds. Guided tours run Tuesday through Thursday at noon; advance registration required.
