Navajo Nation Museum

What began in 1961 as a small tribal museum on the Window Rock Fairgrounds now occupies a dedicated building completed in 1997. The collection runs to more than 40,000 photographs alongside documents, recordings, films, and videos — the institutional memory of the Navajo people, held in Window Rock, Arizona, the capital of the Navajo Nation.
