Sciencenter

Good forFamilies

Founded by community volunteers in 1983, the Sciencenter grew from a hands-on science program run at local elementary schools into a museum that community members built with their own hands — groundbreaking in 1992, doors open in 1993. Over 250 interactive exhibits now fill the space, alongside an outdoor science park. The Sagan Planet Walk, a scale model of the solar system stretching from the Commons to the museum's front door, was named for Carl Sagan, who served on the advisory board until his death.
