Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum

Gerald Ford is the only person in American history to serve as both Vice President and President without winning a national election — and Grand Rapids, where he grew up, chose to bury him here. The 44,000-square-foot museum holds roughly 20,000 artifacts, a full-scale Oval Office replica furnished as it stood during his presidency, and a Watergate gallery built around the actual burglary tools. Ford and Betty Ford are both interred on the grounds.
